On April 18 Festival of India set up at the ISKCON Temple for the first-ever Holi Festival @ ISKCON Orlando's campus. The Festival attracted more than 500 people, many of whom were university students.

The Orlando ISKCON center, right on Rouse Road, has thousands of cars driving by every day so the above sign was instrumental in bringing the students and other local residents to the festival.

The fun starts...

So many people who ordinarily would not visit a temple came for the fun, but they received much more than they expected.

Throwing colors on each other, tasting Krishna prasadam and...

with raised hands chanting the holy names--Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

Along with enjoying the color-throwing, tasting prasadam, and chanting the holy names, many of the festival-goers were reading Festival of India's exhibits. Above, two ladies reading the Vegetarianism/The Higher Taste, one of FOI's popular exhibits that has helped thousands of people switch to a vegetarian diet.

Above, guests reading about Srila Prabhupada.

More festival guests reading the Who Is Prabhupada exhibit. Many guests left with a 'higher taste', hearing the holy names, a stomach full of Krishna prasadam, and at least one of Srila Prabhupada's transcendental books. Hare Krishna.

The Mayapuris, Chaturatma Prabhu, and Arjuna of Krishna Tone performed.
